VIK Club (Very Important Kid)

Designed to support the needs of today's working families, the VIK club is a safe, fun-filled extended learning program for children in K-Prep through 6th grade enrolled in district schools.

We are proud to offer enrichment opportunities that accomplish two major goals: reinforcing the excellent educational programming at Gilbert Public Schools and encouraging personal growth by cultivating life skills, strong relationships and a sense of self worth.

NOTICE: Due to upgrades in GPS Technology Services, we will experience an interruption in our on-line services, including on-line payments, on Monday 3/15 and Wednesday 3/17. On Monday, parent ability make on-line payments may be sporadically interrupted. On Wednesday 3/17, the ability to make on-line payments will not be available. Due to this interruption, the payment due date for Week 33 (week of March 22) will be Tuesday 3/16 rather than Monday 3/15. We have also extended the due date for the month of April's K-Prep payment to March 16th rather than March 15th.

Tax Statement Requests 2009

To request a Tax Statement for childcare paid to Community Education for this past year, please e-mail jennifer_blades@gilbert.k12.az.us. In your e-mail, please include the following information:

Program attended (i.e. VIK, Kindercamp, K-Prep, The Zone)

Payer's name

If more than one person has paid on the child/children’s account and you are requesting a combined statement, please have both payers’ email and note the payer that will be receiving the statement. The statement will be emailed within 7 to 10 business days. The Gilbert Unified School District’s Tax ID Number is 86-6000530.

Registration: $50.00/yr (non-refundable)
Before School: $9.50/day, $42.00/week (Includes breakfast)
After School: $14.00/day, $60.00/week* (Includes snack)
Before & After School: $19.00/day, $82.00/week* (Includes breakfast & afternoon snack)
Holiday Camps: $29.50/day, $135/week* (Includes field trips & activity fees)
Early Release Days: $25.00/day (before/after school)

*Weekly after school rate includes early release days.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration must be completed in the Community Education Office, 6839 E. Guadalupe Rd., Mesa, southeast corner of Guadalupe and Power Rd. Please bring your child's immunization record and information required for the emergency blue card (parent's home/work phone numbers/addresses; at least two emergency contacts phone numbers/addresses). Payment for the first week of attendance is due at the time of registration. There is a two business-day waiting period from the registration date to the child's start date in the program. Questions?
